Our priority during the Coronavirus outbreak is to keep our clients and staff safe. The Stay Safe East team is now working from home. We are continuing to support our clients to stay safe and to access support. We are aware of how difficult this health crisis is going to be for disabled people and will be doing our best to support clients during this time.
Stay Safe East will continue to accept new referrals, but will not be meeting with clients face to face. Please email enquiries@staysafe-east.org.uk if you would like to make a referral.

Staying safe: General advice and resources
- If you are in immediate danger, call the police on 999. If you cannot speak, press 55 when prompted and they will help you
- COVID-19 resources and services in your language (including Easy Read)
- If you are not scared that you are in danger now but want to tell the police then call 101, text phone 18001 101
- The National Domestic Violence Helpline is open 24 hours on 0808 2000 247 (you can contact them via Typetalk)
- SignHealth: The Deaf Health Charity is still accepting referrals and continuing to provide support remotely. Call them on: 0203 947 2600 or SMS text on: 07970350366. Click here for more information on how they are continuing to run during this time.
